Autumn is the most revolutionary season of all. While the days are shorter and shorter, the leaves fall from the trees and the first colds come, in the kitchen there’s instead a true explosion of scents and colours.
Seasonal fruits and vegetables are a must. There are mushrooms, chestnuts, the first artichokes, pumpkins, truffle, apples, pears and many many more.
With the new season the menu of Rione 13 is all new and full of seasonal dishes to celebrate the autumnal delights.

TONNARELLI WITH PUMPKIN SAUCE, AMARETTO AND PRAWNS
The queen of Autumn is the pumpkin, sweet, nutritious and very versatile, it can give that touch of color to a dish that can really put you in a good spirit. A dish based on different ingredients, mostly on the sweet side, that thanks to a smart preparation can give a nice balance.
RIGATONI GRICIA WITH ARTICHOKES
Among the main characters of the traditional roman kitchen, during Autumn, there are the first artichokes of the new season. A tasty and original fusion of two traditional dishes such as gricia and roman artichokes.
One of the secrets of this union of flavors is the cooking method of the artichokes which are first cooked in a pan to make them crunchy and then soften with red wine on a very slow fire.
DUCK BREAST IN THE WOODS
A juicy duck breast sloe cooked in the oven, marinated with a lots of spices and sided with a special berries sauces. The result is a nice game of flavors, sour and spicy.
